This morning, the Angel came and took me to Purgatory.
As the Angel and I walked through Purgatory and passed some ladies, I noticed they were staring at my leg, whispering among themselves, “Look, that’s the lady with the shiny leg.”
“No. It’s more like silver-shiny,” said another one.
Others disagreed, saying, “No, I think it’s gold-shiny.”
The angel looked at them and then at me, softly laughing.
After listening to their comments, I said, “It looks more like a wooden leg!”
The ladies could not agree and kept repeating, “Yes, yes, that’s the lady with the golden leg.”
“No, it’s more like a shiny leg, but silver-shiny.”
“No, I see gold.”
They kept repeating these three different things.
The ladies did not understand that the suffering I endure from the pain in my leg helps them to reach Heaven.
