I see Saint Anne in my home chapel in the late afternoon, surrounded by a beautiful light. She holds her hands raised slightly to the side in prayer and, judging by the sounds, I assume she is saying a prayer in Aramaic. She calls the prayer “Kaddish,” and since I am unfamiliar with it, I listen. After She has prayed and was briefly lost in prayer, She looks at me and says:
"In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. I am Saint Anne, the mother of Mary and the grandmother of Jesus, and I wish to touch your hearts with God’s goodness and grace. It is God’s will to sanctify families in this time of tribulation. Families are the cornerstones of the Church. They carry God’s blessing within them when they invite Jesus—their Savior and Redeemer—into their families.
The saints in heaven from the family of Jesus come to your aid: They wish to intercede for your families before the throne of God. Torn-apart families find healing and peace in Jesus. Families in their daily lives find sanctification and God’s blessing. People who are seeking a calling will recognize it in their hearts as the burning flame of Jesus.
It is important to let this flame burn and not to extinguish it. Jesus has a path of sanctification for each one of you. It is important that you walk this path of your calling! God does not rush you; He is patient. But be careful not to miss your calling! Don’t ask yourselves, "Why am I alone?"
God has looked upon you and prepared everything for you. Look closely, and He will show you how you can serve Him. "Why do I live in a family without faith?" you ask yourself. God has entrusted these people to you, for their sanctification and yours. There are many paths to God, and you walk all of them in His love with your free will.
Do not forfeit God’s grace—make the most of your time! In this time of division and the revelation of error, the saints from the Family of Jesus wish to offer you comfort, hope, and grace. May God’s love fill your hearts through this prayer. May this Rosary prayer bring grace, healing, peace, and encouragement to families—but above all, love for Jesus!"
When I asked, my priest explained to me that there is a “Kaddish prayer” and that it is a Jewish prayer of praise. It is indeed an important Jewish prayer, a prayer for healing, which has evolved over time yet retains a core essence. Essentially, it is a praise of God. The most important themes of this prayer are also found in the Lord’s Prayer, which our Lord Jesus prayed in the New Testament.
